Introducing Fitzroy Fitzroy – strategically positioned on the ‘coolest’ street in the world

Set to be built on Smith Street, Fitzroy – which has been dubbed the ‘coolest street in the world’ by Time Out – Fitzroy Fitzroy is CDL Australia’s newest joint venture with the Chapter Group and Crema Group.

The $95 million apartment building will feature six townhouses, 56 apartments and expansive office and retail space.

Once complete, Fitzroy Fitzroy will stand at nine-storeys high and will be designed by award winning architecture firm, DKO Architecture.

Design that boasts grandeur, with a bit of edge

Upon first glance of the design plans for Fitzroy Fitzroy, locals are met with the sense of familiarity only found in their nook of Melbourne.  Inspired by the historic warehouse’s approach to utility and the integration of heritage red brick on the exterior, Fitzroy Fitzroy is set to be the perfect mix of contemporary architecture that still pays homage to the suburb’s industrial past and legacy.

Moving inside the building, residents have the option of choosing between two interior colour schemes – Gastronome or Avant. These two schemes, which have been inspired by Melbourne’s north side, allow residents to choose a home setting that resonates with their sense of style and personality – whether that’s the light and bright natural finishes of Avant, or the chocolate tones and dark timbers of Gastronome.

Sophisticated, exclusive spaces for residents

Is there anything more intriguing than a sophisticated, residents’ only club? The Smith Club – inspired by the hospitality scene of surrounding suburbs, Fitzroy and Collingwood – will boast communal bar seating, a central dining area and serene spaces of solitude that are perfect for quiet lounging, private meetings or working from home.

A rooftop that goes against the grain

Unlike other inner-city rooftops, Fitzroy Fitzroy will boast an oasis of greenery to promote relaxation and rejuvenation. Forget bars and barbecues – Fitzroy Fitzroy’s rooftop area is your way to escape the hustle and bustle without having to leave the city entirely. This space will be the perfect place for residents to sit back, unwind and breathe in the best of nature.

East or West? The choice is yours

At Fitzroy Fitzroy, residents will have the choice between east or west facing terraces. For those that choose the west, views of the CBD and greater Fitzroy will be there to greet them from their balcony every day – allowing them to soak up the best that Melbourne has to offer, without being exposed to the elements.

The east facing terraces are set to be an entertainer’s delight, with living areas that extend to the balcony – creating the ultimate, large terrace made for hosting. A series of tiered planters transform each terrace into a private, tranquil space,

Inspired by its home, Fitzroy Fitzroy is a place where the past, present and future meets to offer its residents somewhere to connect, retreat and most importantly, belong. To learn more or to stay up to date with the latest Fitzroy Fitzroy news, contact our team here.
