Full steam ahead on the construction of Waterbrook Bowral

With the first residents set to move in late this year, construction is well advanced on Waterbrook Bowral.

Our first luxury retirement living community, located on the site of the historic Our Lady Of The Sacred Heart School in the picturesque NSW Southern Highlands, will deliver 135 deluxe independent living units across a large 17ha site – just moments from the Bowral town centre and train station.

Designed by respected international architecture group Marchese Partners with interiors by Lorena Gaxiola, Waterbrook Bowral will provide the ultimate in prestigious retirement living.

As work progresses under our project partner Kuatro Build, all slabs in Phase 1 have now been poured, a significant milestone which unlocks the final stages of the first 76 villas to be delivered.

Part of the development has involved refurbishing and repurposing existing buildings of the former school to house the community’s resort-style facilities and services.

The games room is now complete, and the wellness centre is progressing well with pool, steam room and sauna finishes beginning in early November.

Head of Business Development and Investment Cameron Laird said if all goes to plan, the finishing touches will be carried out before Christmas.

“Waterfront Bowral is shaping up to be a truly exceptional retirement community that blends contemporary luxury with the heritage charm of its historic site,” he said.

“Among today’s seniors, there is a growing demand for premium retirement living, where people can continue enjoying their interests, social connections, and health pursuits in an elegant setting.

“By integrating resort-style facilities, state-of-the-art wellness centres, and beautifully designed independent living units, Waterfront Bowral is setting a new standard for retirement living that truly caters to today’s sophisticated, active seniors.

“It’s exciting to see significant construction progress being made, bringing this beautiful community to life.”

Phase 2 of Waterfront Bowral residences is set to be released in 2025.
