City Developments Ltd (CDL) has achieved the title of Top Developer for the fourth consecutive year at the EdgeProp Excellence Awards 2020, while also picking up awards for Sustainability Excellence and Top Development across multiple projects.
Celebrating the best of Singapore’s real estate, the awards are judged by top executives from seven of Singapore’s most established real estate companies and authoritative bodies, including Sin Khoon, who was involved in Singapore’s landmark project, Gardens by the Bay.
CDL Group General Manager, Chia Ngiang Hong, says it’s the innovative infrastructure and design that continues to place CDL at the forefront of property development and sustainability in Singapore.
The minimum regulatory requirement that developers must dedicate to landscaping and communal facilities at new residential developments is 40 per cent.
At CDL’s new Amber Park residential development, 65 per cent of the site has been dedicated to landscaping and communal facilities – resulting in the project winning the Sustainability Excellence award.
Other projects also go above and beyond this requirement. For example, Whistler Grand has dedicated 80 per cent of the 716-unit residential project to landscaping and communal facilities such as an oversized lap pool, wellness club and dedicated children’s adventure courses.

With its modern, architecturally designed residences, lush greenery, 50m lap pool, relaxation lawn and children’s play pool, Piermont Grand combines the best of luxurious living with modern lifestyle amenity.
